Former city lawyer sues Warren, police

A former assistant city attorney has filed a federal lawsuit against the city of Warren and two police officers, alleging he was falsely arrested, jailed and prosecuted during a "paranoid" City Hall "witch hunt."

The five-count complaint filed in U.S. District Court Feb. 9 on behalf of Jeffrey Schroder stems from Schroder's February 2009 arrest for alleged drunken driving in Warren.
