— The city’s trash hauling company is suing the city for more than $6 million over the condition of the city-owned waste transfer station and improvements the company said has failed to make for years.
Rizzo Services was awarded a $12 million, seven-year contract in 2001. The contract calls for the -based company to operate the transfer station where both residential garbage and collected yard waste is brought, separated and finally transferred to landfills and composting lots.
